You may qualify for financial assistance to help with your testing costs. If your insurance pays for the test but you can't afford the co-pay or deductible costs, you may be eligible for financial assistance.

If your insurance does not cover the test and you meet the eligibility criteria, you may qualify for a free test.

December 1, 2011: Genetic Testing CoPay Assistance Program starts in Massachusetts.

To kick off the program, The Cancer Resource Foundation, Inc hosted a Genetics education session for health care providers and genetic counselors at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center on December 1st. The program "Reaching Disparate Populations: Current Perspectives in Genetics and Genomics" was well attended. Guest speakers included prominent genetics and genomics researchers and providers from the Boston area.

The Cancer Resource Foundation plans to expand its CoPay Assistance Program to 5 other states within the next few weeks.
